Mr. Bernd Koch was an agricultural engineer. He had worked in Beef Union West for 11 years, whose responsibility is oversea market development. This 46-years-old man formally served as Director of DLG Overseas Department. He has a large amount of related experiences and can totally be competent with the DLG issues. After his inauguration, Mr. Koch would mainly devote the construction and management of DLG overseas teams. Specifically speaking, his major task is focused on the exhibition-related activities and professional agricultural events and developing specific strategies according to the situations of every country.
Based in Frankfurt, Germany, DLG has 200 oversea employees. DLG subsidiaries and offices are located in Italy, Switzerland, Poland and China.
As a subsidiary of the DLG, DLG (Beijing) AgroTech Service was founded in 2007. Its mission is promoting progress in agriculture and its related industries. Since then, DLG has forged a strong network within the Chinese agricultural community and organized a series of successful events, together with Chinese partners, addressing topics such as food safety, farming efficiency and pig production. The office in Beijing is also responsible for Chinese participation at Agritechnica and EuroTier. In about two years DLG (Beijing) AgroTech Service promoted the Sino-German cooperation to a new level in the fields of agricultural machinery and livestock and poultry management.
